You can read all about our trials and tribulations on our blog. Getting Involved To get involved with Wrench Nepal, check out our Volunteer page, or email mario@wrenchnepal.org. Partnering with Wrench Nepal Wrench Nepal is always looking for in-country and external partners for our programs: bike shops or appropriate technology NGOs looking for apprentices with mechanical skills; Nepali and expatriate friends-of-the-shop who can provide guidance and support; local NGOs whose goals and missions dovetail with our own. If you or our organization is interested in partnering with Wrench Nepal, email contact@wrenchnepal.org. Our Mission Wrench Nepal exists to provide marketable jobs skills to the disadvantaged, while providing affordable, environmentally safe transportation. Our goal is to maintain a self-sustaining bicycle shop in which school-age employees are given the skills needed to become competent mechanics and business people. We support economic sustainability, challenge the mechanisms of the cycle of poverty and advocate for environmental issues as they relate to transportation. |
